UConn Early College Experience in Plant Science

UConn’s Early College Experience (ECE) program lets motivated high school students earn UConn credits while still in high school at a fraction of the cost of regular tuition. Through our Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture, students can take Plant Science courses that are equivalent to those taught on campus. These courses give you the chance to experience real college-level work, strengthen your transcript, and explore your interests in areas like biotechnology, horticulture, and turfgrass management. Taught by certified UConn ECE instructors at partner high schools, these courses help you transition smoothly into college while saving time and money.

Check if your high school is a UConn ECE partner school and discover how you can start building your future in plant science today.
